Short version: taadoo asks for as little as possible, stores what little it does quietly, and never sells a thing.

Who this covers

This page covers the taadoo website (taadoo.app) and the taadoo iPhone app. Both are made by an independent developer based in the UK.

What the website collects

  • If you sign up to the newsletter, we store your email address with Buttondown, our email provider. Nothing else.
  • No cookies. No tracking pixels. No analytics scripts. No fingerprinting.
  • Standard server logs (IP, user-agent, time) may be kept briefly by our host (Cloudflare) for security and abuse prevention, then discarded.

What the iPhone app collects

Nothing leaves your device. taadoo stores all your tasks, notes, and settings locally on your iPhone using Apple's on-device storage. There is no taadoo server, no account, and no cloud sync. If you delete the app, that data goes with it.

If a future version adds optional sync, it will be clearly labelled, opt-in, and described here before it ships.

How the newsletter works

  • You give us an email address. We use it to send occasional updates about taadoo.
  • You can unsubscribe from any email with one click.
  • We never share, rent, or sell the list.

Your rights

If you're in the UK or the EU, UK GDPR and the EU GDPR apply. You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. For the newsletter, that usually means unsubscribing (which removes you from our list) or emailing us for a full deletion.

Children

taadoo is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes

If this page changes in any meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top and note what changed. Minor wording tweaks may happen without notice.
